I have held multiple senior executive positions in multinational companies in Europe, South America and Unites States. Companies like Galp Energia SGPS SA, The Coca-Cola Company Refrige (CCEP), HOLCIM Group, EPTA Group, Sony, IBM and PwC, being the last 17 years in CIO/Digital roles, with proven track record in driving fast pacing digital transformation, in complex multi-country matrix environments with strong strategic and delivery focus. I am highly motivated by transformational challenges within companies that are in growth or renewal/rebirth phases. Experienced in enabling new revenue streams and business models, transforming the business and/or areas that need to be re-positioned, re-vitalized or created from scratch, which has been my mandate for the past 20+ years in different multinational companies and areas. I combine technology and business knowledge to transpose business strategies into technological roadmaps, explaining how technology can reshape business and how, with concrete and scalable use cases, the company can take advantage of the best tech at hand, alongside existing legacy systems, without compromising its future. Used to implement large scale projects, like SAP 4/H migration, CRM’s, integration of diverse Billing systems, RGM’s. as well as direct-to-customer solutions, B2B or B2C portals and Customer-facing Apps. Building high-performing, business-focused teams has been key to delivering strategic and tech-driven change, whether revitalizing existing areas or creating new ones from scratch, something subjacent to any company that wants to grow or rethink its strategy, with IT/Digital as an enabler and a strategic differentiator. I apply agility, process optimization, data-driven decision making, automation and industry 4.0 methodologies (Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, Cloud Computing, and Cyber-Physical Systems to improve enterprise operations and promote digital advancement. My academic background is in Business Administration and have received executive education at IESE Business School and ESADE in Madrid, and Católica Lisbon Business & Economics.
