About Nuru I Usman

As a SR Cloud DevOps Engineer at Wood Mackenzie I have been instrumental in fortifying the organization’s security posture through strategic cloud computing initiatives. With a proven track record in both private and public hybrid environments, I have established a standard for robust infrastructure provisioning and automated application deployment. My role requires a nuanced understanding of automation orchestration, configuration management, and efficient application deployment, leveraging industry-leading tools including Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes. Our collaborative efforts have led to the implementation of advanced monitoring and logging systems, employing technologies such as Prometheus, AlertManager, Exporters and Grafana Logging systems like logstash, Splunk and, middlewares e.g FluentD, telegraf etc, which have been vital in evolving VIAVI's infrastructure to adeptly meet the dynamic demands of the digital era.
