Background
About Nyssa Rabinowitz
I teach violin group classes at Detroit Country Day Lower School to kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students. I also lead sectionals at North Farmington High School, Bloomfield Hills High School, and at the Oakland Youth Orchestra Studio Strings ensemble and Strings ensemble rehearsals. In addition to my work at DCDS and sectionals, I perform as a freelance musician throughout Oakland County with my string quartet Da Capo al Fine. I worked for nearly 10 years as a private violin and viola teacher at the Rochester Conservatory of Music in Rochester, MI. I also taught Suzuki violin lessons and group classes for 5 years at the Michigan State University Community Music School in East Lansing, MI.
