About Nzere Libe

Nzere Libe has a strong interest in women and youth empowerment, inclusivity, diversity, and youth peace and security. Currently, I am a Youth Leaders Fellow of Cohort 6 at the UNFPA Country Office in Accra, Ghana, where I am building capacity and gaining valuable experience working with the Country Office and other UN agencies. As a fellow, I have been deployed to the Adolescent Youth Development Unit, where I work with staff on advancing the youth agenda of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) office. Throughout my journey, I have led community programs to empower women, youth, and marginalized groups,also coordinated mentorship programs for refugees and promoted girls’ education through partnerships with organizations like the Christian Council of Ghana and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). During the COVID-19 pandemic, I contributed to a livelihood skills project in partnership with the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) and the Christian Council of Ghana. As part of this initiative, I trained over youth, equipping them with essential skills to restore financial independence and build resilience during challenging times. I am fluent in English, French, and Sango, which enables me to effectively communicate and connect with diverse communities. Volunteering has been a profoundly transformative journey for me, offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact while fostering my growth as a leader. My passion for community engagement, support, social equity and inclusion drives me to dedicate my time and skills to impactful initiatives. Through these efforts, I continually strive to create positive change and uplift those in need, leaving a lasting legacy of compassion and empowerment.
