About Obinna Uchewa

Uchewa, Onwe Obinna is a lecturer in the Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, College of Medicine, Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo (AE-FUNAI). I obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Human Anatomy from Ebonyi State University (EBSU) and proceeded to the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus (UNEC), to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Reproductive Anatomy. Because of my special interest in cognitive and behavioral neuroscience, an area in which I worked during my PhD research. During my PhD, I focused on the effects of paraquat on SCNC, MAPT, and LSTZ2, which impair motor and cognitive abilities in Wistar rats. I have taught nursing students and have been teaching and demonstrating anatomy since 2012. I currently participate in the training of B.Sc, MBBS, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, and Human Nutrition and Dietetics students in the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences. He is very passionate about teaching anatomy and mentoring students to achieve their goals.
