About Obrien Little

Hello! I'm O'Brien and I am a recent B.Sc Computer Science graduate. I enjoy being able to use my programing skills to tackle fun challenges, and to find unique solutions. With a passion learning new skills, there's no aspect of the computer science world that hasn't peaked my interest yet! During my time in University, I primarily worked in C++. However, from projects and interest, I have learned PHP, Python, Lisp, HTML and JavaScript. Allowing me to be versatile in both front and back end application design. I also have hands on experience in robotics and ROS. I have used virtualization to simulate robotic arm movements based on commands, and used TurtleBot and LIDAR to map and plan navigation. My professional experience in the civil servant and customer service sector's have allowed me to understand end user requirements and how those ideas may differ from development ideas. I've spent time working with ArcGIS, integrating Parks and Recreation asset management into the growing sphere of geomatics and online databases. Projects and reports I have worked on have gone on to influence budget analysis and future development projects. My personal interests include: fitness, sports, video games and music.
