Management and leadership are like conducting orchestra during rehearsals- audience`s enjoyment is driving the continuous pursue of imprinting the memorable performance. The knowledge I gained throughout my practices in standing on the conductor’s’ podium, shaped my view on leadership and management style in the corporate environment. Conductor as a change process executive. Conducting a piece is actually helping the orchestra members facilitate themselves quickly to constantly occurring changes during the music. My ability of managing changes and acting on our clients` insights helped me to form an excelling customer service. Like in the orchestra, my objectives are: create and sustain the collaborative efforts of the individuals who form the team; motivate them to bring their inner selves into continuous thriving. Their success is what shapes the customer’s experience into a positive imprint. The score as a business plan\contract The various KPIs, SLAs and targets agreed with the clientele are the exact parallels of tempo, phrases, dynamics and orchestration in a composition. A score is only as good how it’s main parts are played. Directing, Coaching and guiding talents in mastering their parts cooperatively- are the insurance of a great service. The analysis as an emotional intelligence agent The traditional analysis of scores\contracts, the real time monitoring and after math checks, are the agents of promoting effective emotional intelligence that allows all the members to evaluate how their performance is always exceeding expectations let it be business environment or concert hall. Eventually, all aspects of conducting music assisted me in influencing a great part of my managerial approach, which contains succession planning as part of the organizational culture.
