Seasoned Supply Chain Coordinator processes orders for merchandise from direct customer contact. Maintains customer files with sales contracts and other information. Gives price quotations, completes order sheets, and checks the price and quantity of each item listed. Distributes order sheets to factories. Coordinates with departments regarding order status, shipping dates, prices, product availability, and backorders. Key responsibilities include collecting, managing, and resolving outstanding invoices from past-due accounts. Interfaces with account managers and accounts receivable in reconciling accounts. Responsible for ensuring legal compliance and providing import/export administration and control within government rules and regulations. Reviews contracts for required clauses and identifies omissions. Interfaces with internal and external customers, foreign order administration, freight forwarders, customs, and other functional areas to ensure coordination and logistics of shipment. Works with carrier/forwarder for shipment of products and prepares documents for freight forwarders/Customers.
