I was a stay at home mom raising a son and volunteered coaching high school basketball as my “me time”. A part time opportunity came up to help out at my high school and from there, I have worked my way up in the SUHSD. I went from working two hours a day, to becoming a campus aide, to an administrative vice principal secretary, to an instructional vice principal secretary. I believe anything is possible when you put your mind to it and work hard to achieve it. Hard work becomes easy work when you enjoy what you do. Hopefully I can continue to grow in my profession as a secretary working within the education department, however, opportunities always knock and I will be ready and prepared to take on any new role that will provide experience and growth within my profession as an assistant/secretary.
