I am an experienced real estate attorney with a strong background in affordable housing, multifamily development, HUD Transfers of Physical Assets (TPA) reviews, mixed-finance transactions, and title and survey review. Prior to joining Pitre Law Firm, I represented the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for over a decade as an attorney in its Houston Field Office. During that time, I successfully closed over 200 transactions totaling more than $2 billion dollars. Those transactions included market rate, tax credit, mixed finance, nursing homes, assisted-living, and Section 8 assisted developments. I was also responsible for reviewing TPAs to ensure compliance with HUD regulations and federal, state and local laws. Today, I primarily focus my practice on representing lenders or borrowers involved in FHA-insured multifamily transactions. In addition to my real estate practice, my practice also includes business formation and general business services.
