About Ogle Kim
My mother was widowed, with seven young children to raise on her own. My siblings and I credit much of our success to the daily lessons learned from her. As a single mom in my early stage of my career I moved from Arizona to Iowa. I was eighteen with a six week old daughter. My career in distribution started in a family owned company in downtown Des Moines where I used my knowledge in accounting balancing financial reports. My biggest lesson was when I changed to the corporate world, how to accept CHANGE? My experience in janitorial distribution has given me a skill set in customer service, finance, procurement, management, sales and the knowledge to create programs that fit the need of the client. DMPS has become the hardest ship to turn, with students, employees and 250 custodial staff, change is a challenge. I remain confident in maintaining the basic skills I learned as a child: leadership, truth and integrity.
