About Ola Weintraub

How I got where I never thought I'd be: From Customer Service to Transformation Consulting. Customer Service was agile before the agile manifesto. Constant change lives at the center of this work. We, who have worked in this industry for many years, know this: You can never ever know, what the day will bring. Tolerance for ambiguity is high among us, because the alternative is not sustainable in a world that can "break" because of a typo in website coding. What was true today can be old news tomorrow. Nobody knows this better than the people having to explain that on the phone to a customer. So keeping the customers front and center always is another stance we take. There is no alternative. We are investigators, problem solvers and change agents. Advocates, problem spotters and empathy powerhouses. I am still amazed how well this work has prepared me, for where the road took me. All these skills, all this experience from working for start ups, working with customers, other businesses and mainly in the tech world have prepared me for all that is necessary to understand what our clients need now. The ability that is inherent to Customer Service: to ask the right questions, to look for clues of what we can do here and now to make things better for everybody, to cut through all the noise and get to the heart of an issue. To do it with respect and empathy for where our client is. To never loose sight of what's most important. I am forever grateful for every angry phone call, every coaching conversation and every escalation. For being part of big and small transformation in my leadership roles and all the fantastic leaders who shaped my understanding of what it is to lead. Change is the one constant we can rely on and excitement is on the other side of fear. When times are uncertain, let's go explore and find flow.
