About Oladele Hanafi.

A medical Doctor and experienced Program manager with progressive career in clinical and Global health that span more than a decade. I am a Member of the Association of Project Management (APM) in the UK and Royal Society for public health (RSPH). I have a broad understanding of the major public health challenges through my years of experience having worked extensively in most parts of Nigeria as a clinician and a public health program specialist. I have managed and worked with amazing teams on several projects funded by Global fund,BMGF,GLIDE and USAID across multiple countries in Africa. I am a member of the global operations team at Sightsavers support program implementations in different African countries in areas of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). I lead the implementation and delivery of impact surveys and surveillance activities in countries where mass drug administration has happened for many years in a bid to stop the use of Ivermectin in those countries and progress towards the elimination of LF, OV and SCH diseases. I have previously supported many states on the implementation of program interventions in HIV/AIDs, TB,MNCH,GBV, Family planning in Nigeria. I have supported various project design and management, capacity building for healthcare workers while also providing strategic leadership. I possess great interpersonal and excellent communication skills required of a modern global health leader and excellent stakeholder's management skills. Had several courses on Leadership management in Health, monitoring and Evaluation, and project management from universities around the world including University of Washington and Coventry University among others.
