About Olaf Jastrob

Olaf Jastrob, born in 1966, started in the events industry and toured as a technician before becoming an event manager working across all trades. At the same time, Jastrob completed training as an international business economist (IHK), specialist for marketing (IHK) and a wholesale and foreign trade merchant (IHK). He has now specialized in the safety of visitors and staff at events and in places of assembly. To be able to cover all areas of an event, trade fair, hotels, demonstrations, universities or shopping centres, he not only completed the course to become a specialist planner for visitor safety at the Technical University of Cologne but also continued his education at various professional associations and educational institutes, including to become a specialist in explosion protection as well as for occupational safety, as a trainer for fire protection and evacuation helpers, safety and health coordinators, safety technicians in meeting places, service dog trainers, safety inspectors and paramedics. Due to his decades of experience in the event industry, Olaf Jastrob accompanies the technical management consultancy Jastrob GmbH as managing director. & Co. KG today is not only responsible for major events with several thousand visitors but also shares his diverse know-how with his interdisciplinary team of lecturers in the A.V.B-Akademie GmbH, which he manages. & Co. KG to seminar participants from all sectors and management levels. In addition, Jastrob, who is also trained as a health and conflict moderator, not only supports major organizers as head of the staff when it comes to the right crisis management but also advises various German universities and technical colleges in this area. Jastrob also volunteers as Chairman of the Board of the German Expert Council for Visitor Safety e.V. Olaf Jastrob is the largest and best-known influencer on security issues in Germany.
