About Olaf Matyja

As a Senior Software Development Engineer at F5, I am focused on advancing the iHealth application, where Java, and Spring skills are paramount. I found and patched three serious security vulnerabilities, saving the company from a potentially costly problem. I also started creating new standalone and Azure based versions of the application using TypeScript, Express, and React.js. At Nykredit (Denmark's largest mortgage bank), I implemented and maintained internal applications and services, written in Java, or in Node.js and Angular. The experience with a wide range of technologies has resulted in a unique mix of skills. At StatConsulting, I built data marts and models for a telecom client with 20 million customers. One of the marts had 4500 variables calculated for each customer. Completed the Ph.D. at the Institute of Computer Science PAS, Department of Artificial Intelligence, while forging advanced knowledge discovery algorithms and building my own data processing application in C++. I am honing the AI and algorithmic skills by achieving high places in international competitions (top 4%, top 3%, semi-finalist).
