I have 5 years’ experience as an RFIC designer, 8 years of dual role RFIC designer & layout design and 10 years focused layout mask design. I am proficient in all aspects of IC mask layout having both supervised a team up to 10 and been the only one for a start-up. I have over 20 years of experience in physical design of RF/Analog/Mixed Signal IC's layout which comprise of floor planning, block-level-to-chip integration, full verification DRC/LVS/ERC including RCLK parasitic extraction, custom verification and automation coding, PDK development, schematic-primitive’s library development, pCells and callback coding, layout verification rule deck programming, design flow support & development. With the combination of electrical & mechanical engineering training, I can understand the impacts of advancing IC and packaging technologies to the physical/layout design process. Through my work experience, I have strategies for quickly mastering new IC processes and their evolving design tools. From my breadth of product exposure, I have learned to apply past lessons to new situations; for examples, layout parasitic impact on RFIC's to their impact on high-speed communication circuits, quickly develop PDK/flow add-ons.
