About Oleksandr Novychenko

I am a software engineer with over 14 years of experience at EvoLogics, where I designed and developed from scratch a complete software solution for underwater target positioning — taking it from concept to a robust product used by customers worldwide. My technical background covers a wide spectrum: Programming & Systems: Node.js, Erlang, Angular, SQLite, and C (including custom implementations of numerically stable mathematical modules). Low-level Development: Linux and Darwin (macOS) driver programming, CNC programming. Security & Platforms: creator of a hardened Debian-based platform (for x86_64 and Raspberry Pi) with protection against code and platform cloning. API & Integration: experience designing APIs for inter-component communication (not yet full microservices, but with strong modular architecture). In addition to core development, I have ~2 years of project management experience, coordinating a growing team on complex R&D projects. I am particularly interested in embedded systems, cybersecurity, and cryptography. I also explore Rust and Go for their potential in building safe, efficient, and concurrent systems. As side interests, I look into antennas (phased array systems), radio communication (my academic background is in theoretical radio engineering), as well as FPGA/DSP. What drives me is building reliable, secure, and technically elegant solutions that bridge deep theory with practical engineering.
