About Oleksiy Savytskyy

First and foremost, I am a communicator, a skill that has been instrumental in making me a strong engineer. Active listening is just as important when reading code as it is when understanding a client’s needs or absorbing a lecture. Writing clear, understandable code, explaining complex technical ideas to non-technical people, and mentoring others are all aspects of effective communication. I’ve spent years intentionally building these skills through books, coaching, and workshops, always striving to connect better with people. I’m a passionate software developer with a deep love for the fundamentals: computer architecture, performance, security, and clean software design. I specialize in.NET and Unity Engine, with a strong focus on VR development. I know C# inside and out - try me! Endlessly curious, I’ve explored a wide range of software domains: from embedded systems to web development. This broad journey has made me an experienced full-stack developer, primarily using ASP.NET, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Linux on the backend, and TypeScript with React - on the frontend. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in CS, I have to say I am absolutely in love with the fundamentals of the knowledge I gained at university - despite many people claiming it would be useless. I found many ways to apply newly gained knowledge to my everyday work and personal projects.
