About Olga Danelone

Olga Danelone was born in 1964 in Italy, she completed professional studies for Advertising Technicians and worked for 7 years as an Advertising Poster Artist. In 1986, she resumed her artistic studies and attended the Giovanni da Udine School of Arts and Crafts for 4 years, the summer courses of Calcographic Graphics at the Raffaello Academy in Urbino and the Multimedia courses in Udine. Alongside her work as a painter, Olga Danelone initially carried out an analysis of Eastern philosophy and later, together with scientific themes, of Western philosophy. The currents and philosophers with whom she feels in tune, starting from Ancient Greece, are Antisthenes and Diogenes; among the Enlightenment, with the return to reason, she prefers the more skeptical and cynical texts. From the 18th century the Anarchists and then Nietzsche. From the last century she prefers the combination of philosophy with biology, sociology, science, politics, as in Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennet or Christopher Hitchens. Regardless of the topic covered, books with a complex vision, tending to deconstruct stereotypes, are the readings with which she constantly continues in the examination of contemporary becoming. She began his exhibition activity in 1986, with testimonies in Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates, Kenya, Mexico, Austria, Slovenia, Switzerland and Italy: Milan, Rome, Naples, Lucca, Florence, Trieste, Udine.
