About Olgun U.

I am an experienced ICT and operations professional with a Master’s degree in Information Systems and Management from the University of London. I have in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge in project management, system development life cycles, change management, and technological innovation. Currently, as the Head of Operations at WordUnited, I lead operations in one of Europe's fastest-growing companies. My background includes extensive experience in healthcare systems and the financial sector, emphasising strategic management and technology evaluation to enhance operational efficiencies and client satisfaction. I have previously worked in primary and secondary care environments supporting their clinical systems (h/w&s/w). 10+ years in the private industry (including 5 years in the financial sector in the City of London) where job security relies heavily on quality of service, taught me accountability and managing client expectations. This developed me to be effective at analysis of problems; evaluation of technology options and the successful deployment of solutions. I have always had an interest in strategic management and have developed sound grasp of classical tools used in strategic analysis such as SWOT analysis and Five Forces Model.
