About Oli Cheadle
I am a speech and language therapist currently working in the fields of stuttering, voice, and stroke. I have a particular interest in therapy for stuttering and run a private online therapy service - Stuttering Therapy Online. I am trained to deliver the following therapies for stuttering: Modifying Phonation Intervals 2 (a new biofeedback programme for teenagers and adults who stutter), Palin Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, the Lidcombe Program. I also work within the NHS and have experience in delivering therapy for clients with conditions such as dysphagia, aphasia, dyspraxia, dysarthria, voice disorders, and a range of other communication difficulties. As a person who stammers, I know first hand the importance of effective, personalised therapy. In 2015 I was the recipient of the Travers Reid Award for new research into stammering. Since 2018 I have been a study day coordinator for the National Dysfluency CEN.
