About Oliver Aceves

I am a recent graduate from the University of Notre Dame where I majored in Mechanical Engineering, with a minor in Engineering Corporate Practice. I have conducted research in various labs, including- the Purdue Energetics Research Center at Purdue University, where I characterized mock energetic materials - the Advanced Manufacturing Lab at the University of Notre Dame, where we worked to characterize aerosol printed sensors - most recently, the Swarm Lab at the University of California, Berkeley where I designed and tested a 3 degree-of-freedom 3D-printed mechanisms at the millimeter scale I have considerable experience in Solidworks, MATLAB and Mathematica, but I am interested in expanding my skill set with new software or modeling packages. I was looking to follow up my undergraduate studies in a research and development position at institutes/companies seeking to make an impact. Therefore, I was ecstatic to accept the offer from Navistar as a systems engineer in their research and development department, where I will focus on vehicle mechatronics.
