About Oliver Attard

Started my career with Air Malta flying the B737-300. After accumulating over 3,500 hrs on the 737 Air Malta decided to opt to an all Airbus fleet and thus I converted to the A320 in 2008. Following my conversion to the A320 I applied for unpaid leave so as to be able to join other airlines and gather experience in various airline sectors. In September 2009 I joined Afriqiyah Airways based in Libya. Besides flying to Europe and Africa I was also assisting Flight Operations management with day to day duties mainly : Flight Crew rostering Co-ordinating with the expat group Assisting with the recruitment of new expats Day to day issues with flight operations Co-ordinating the implementation of new flight time limitations with Libyan Civil Aviation Following this I later joined YES Airways / OLT Express Poland where once again I started helping at Head Office. During my experience with YES / OLT I have assisted in various areas mainly : Flight Crew rostering Co-ordinating with the expat group Assisting with the recruitment of new expats Assisting the FOPH with day to day issues Re-writing the Flight Time Limitations (OMA Ch7) to be in line with EU FTL's Assisted in Aircraft dry leasing Fuel and route optimisation Assisted the CTPH with day to day training duties Ensuring best utilisation of crews and securing ACMI deals
