Oliver Baumgart is the Director of Sales and Business Development at Solar Direct, a Solar Energy Distributor and Contractor in Sarasota, Florida with responsibility for In-Home and Internet Sales, Marketing programs and Brand Management. Prior to joining Solar Direct, he worked for Mercedes Benz Financial Services in Stuttgart and Munich, Germany, and also worked in a consulting position at Bundeswehr Fuhrpark Services Munich, Germany. In 2002 he started to explore the Solar Industry in Germany and founded his own business to help Home owners to finance the purchase of a residential or commercial Solar PV system. In 2009 he decided to move to Florida where he joined Solar Direct in 2011 and helped to increase the In-Home Sales. Oliver’s greatest strengths are his creativity, drive and leadership. He thrives on challenges, particularly those that expand the company’s reach. Oliver holds a bachelors degree from VWA Stuttgart, Germany, a Energy Gauge Rater Certificate from Florida Solar Energy Center and Balance Sheet Analysis and Financing/Leasing Certificates from Mercedes Benz Financial Services, Germany. He lives in Sarasota, Florida. In his free time, Oliver likes to work out and enjoy being at the beach.
