My goal is to make concrete more durable, ecological and thus more economical. In addition to the development of new concepts and methods, the training of young scientists and consulting are essential aspects of my work. For this purpose, I bring more than 17 years of professional experience from the industry. As head of R&D at Sika Deutschland GmbH, I was responsible to develop innovative products for the production and processing of cement and concrete in the German, Benelux and Danish markets. Other responsibilities included managing Sika's global concrete technology center with 23 employees and supporting the local R&D departments in the Europe-Middle East-Africa (EMEA) region. I demonstrated flexibility and leadership skills during my 1.5 year assignment in India.
