I have worked in the offshore industry for 15 years, and have a clear and wide-ranging understanding of how the marine industry works and operates. Working in various roles I have had exposure to many aspects of the offshore, marine and survey industry, and have seen how businesses in general operate successfully, whist providing the client with their desired end product. I have gained a great deal of project management, tendering, and operational experience – overseeing the project from the tender stage, to the award of contract and mobilisation, right to the final report and invoice. Key Skills and Abilities • Established and proven project management ability, running large offshore projects • Successful tender and bid writing skills • Vessel Operations (clearance, crewing, ship supply and fuelling) • Chartering vessels, and engaging subcontractors • Experienced in commercial and operational negotiations • Communicating clearly and effectively with people from many different cultures and backgrounds • Wide range of computer skills, including: Microsoft Office, Project, Adobe Photoshop, etc. • Ability to learn new skills quickly, with a flexible and positive attitude • Comfortable in varied working environments, including different countries and cultures
