About Oliver Easterday

Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineer with experience in systems design and implementation as well as research. Projects as designer-in-chief have spanned a wide range of complexity from individual simple units (aircraft flight control components and test fixtures) to complete vehicles (autonomous undersea vehicles). Focus has been on systems integration, requirements generation, and interface specification. R&D work has focused on thermal-fluid experiments and computer modeling, and solid mechanical experimentation and numerical modeling. I have had the great satisfaction to work on diverse R&D teams with all backgrounds, ages, experiences working stiff problems together with the meritocracy of ideas driving the direction of the effort. This is true whether as a the new guy or as the lead; it's great to learn from the 360-degree all around. Specialties: mechanical systems design, electrical power systems design, sensor integration, undersea vehicle design, system-level integration.
