About Oliver Evans

I started my working life in a local restaurant serving traditional Italian meals to the general public. Starting as a pot wash, I quickly gained the skills necessary to function within a high pressure environment and naturally started to work in the kitchen. The team consistently produced high quality food whilst having fun doing it. I learnt the importance of punctuality, attention to detail and time management. During my time at sixth form, I applied to work in a local Tesco Extra and just a few weeks later was on the shop floor attending to the needs of both colleagues and customers alike. I was a general assistant, which allowed me to work flexibly between different departments and to gain invaluable skills in both customer service as well as organisation. The need to retain information on products and goods was beneficial not only to myself but to those around me, allowing me to do my job as efficiently and effectively as possible. I previously worked for Jardine Motors Group, fulfilling the role of product expert for Mercedes-Benz in the UK. I was immersed in a fast paced environment, with constant targets and quotas to meet and continually met the high expectations of colleagues and senior management. This role has taught me the importance of mastering your craft and catering for individual customer needs. I am currently an insurance broker, specialising in property owners and am working towards my insurance qualifications which will allow me to provide clients with a tailored and personal service. To sum up, I am a hardworking, devoted employee who aims to provide the highest quality work possible in his daily work life. A team player, being able to adapt to situations and environments outside of my comfort zone while still producing a high level of work. Constantly meeting deadlines and targets set by management. Great interpersonal skills which have been developed over years of customer service experience. An all round hard worker who strives to be the greatest he can be both in and out of a work environment.
