Thank you for visiting my profile I am a Senior Business Leader with deeply embedded experience across all facets of business function. I have over 40 years of public and private sector exposure. I have stepped down from leading Rutland County Council through some of the most testing times globally nationally and locally there have been many things that I have been part of whilst in the role, bringing in a new CEO, working with him to bring about a Long term vision for the County through community engagement and leading the events with the CEO has been one of my personal highs. I have brought about structure on the commercial operations and encouraged development of a Assets review which has been delivered. I have built a wide network. I still have my own business in Property Management and work with people who are in the early years of their business. Currently looking at working with a local business to understand where the hidden costs are and how to ensure they are covered. This work will draw on my experience in setting up a franchise business. Starting a business no matter what field can be exciting, nerve wracking and an adrenalin rush, I have done this three times and I know the one thing that I missed was someone who I could talk to who had done it so I have made lots of mistakes in my businesses but I have learnt from them and now have a simple but mostly effective way of making sure that things are going the right way. Now looking to draw upon skills, exposures, and network to contribute to the performance of companies or organisations that are looking for an objective, independent person, with an eye for detail and accuracy and very strong commercial, financial and strategic experience. Will challenge and scrutinise in a friendly advisory manner and take a long term position on the key elements of the business regarding strategy for growth and development.
