About Oliver Kwon

I just graduated with a finance major at the University of Utah, where I focus on advanced financial analysis and am preparing for the CFA exam. Over the past few years, I’ve built a well-rounded background through internships in private equity, investment banking, and financial regulation. At Atacama Capital, I supported deal execution through financial modeling, market research, and due diligence. I then worked at the FDIC as a Financial Management Scholar, where I analyzed bank risk and internal controls during on-site exams. I’m currently at Vermilion Rock Advisors, gaining hands-on experience with lower-middle-market investment banking transactions. Outside of internships, I’m a TA for finance courses and an elected student representative overseeing a budget. What drives me is combining analytical rigor with communication and leadership.
