About Oliver Michael

With 17 years of dedicated service as the director and manager at Namaste Yoga Farm in India, my journey has been nothing short of transformative. Tasked with overseeing the workers, driving sales, and warmly receiving our guests, my role has been pivotal in shaping the farm's success. This is evident from the glowing reviews we've received, which are a testament to the hard work and commitment my wife and I have poured into this venture. My first encounter with yoga was a revelation. When I received a yoga book, it felt like I had been handed a manual for life's journey. The five principles of yoga – proper exercise, proper breathing, proper relaxation, proper diet, and positive thinking/meditation – resonated deeply with me, fitting seamlessly into my lifestyle and beliefs. My passion for yoga led me to the prestigious Patanjali Ashram in India, where I qualified as a Yoga Teacher. Now, my teaching is primarily rooted in the sequence of Sivananda Yoga. However, it's been greatly enriched by the influence of various esteemed teachers, allowing me to develop my unique style with a strong emphasis on relaxation. Yoga has been a cornerstone in understanding my mind and fostering health and happiness in my life. Sharing this gift of wellbeing and joy with my students, inspiring them on their personal journeys towards health and happiness, has been the most rewarding aspect of my career.
