Background

About Oliver Tuckett

I've spent nearly two decades in business development, winning clients, building commercial teams, and driving growth across a range of sectors. But the part of the work I've always found most meaningful is helping people perform at their best. That's what led me to qualify as a coach at ILM Level 5. I wanted to take the instinct I'd always had for developing people and ground it in proper practice, so I could do it with real rigour and intent. What makes my background a little different is that I bring genuine commercial credibility to the coaching and L&D space. I understand the pressures that sales and BD professionals face because I've lived them. That means I can coach with real context, not just theory. I'm experienced in working with individuals and teams to unlock performance, improve confidence, and navigate the kind of challenges that don't always show up in a training manual. I'm now looking for a role where I can combine my commercial background with my coaching qualification, working within an L&D, People, or Organisational Development function where I can genuinely make a difference to how people grow and perform. If that sounds like something you're working on, I'd love to connect.
