About Olivia Arlinghaus

Growing up, I have always wanted to help people for a living. When people hear that, they think of non-profit organizations or a job in a public service position. My idea of helping people is being a manager that builds a strong relationship with consumers, to help them grow as individuals with products they need in their day to day life. Throughout high school and some college, I had a job that I loved. I worked for a family business called "Arlinghaus Builders". Being so young, I was given a very small position that I thought wouldn't make a difference. That job is what really built my foundation, my desire, to working in Marketing and Management. I worked in a model home during open houses, and created a bond with all potential clients. I talked to people on a day to day basis and became very comfortable with public speaking and basic communication. Thinking I was just another greeter, I never realized how important I was in client's decision making process, to help them find what they love in a home and making a difference in their life. I come from a very large family, allowing me to be around people all my life. This really benefits me in the case that I can talk to people very easily, I can build strong relationships, and I am great at teamwork. I have a sense of leadership, in a different way than most. I am the oldest grandchild of twenty-four. I have had kids looking up to me as a role model since I was ten. There's nothing better than knowing you can have a good affect on how a child grows up. Teaching them manners, and helping them grow as an individual is amazing to look back on as we all get older. In the future, I would love to work for a company that I can be assured as a top teir company. I am open to positions in Marketing, Management, and Advertising, as well as many others where I can excel and benefit the company as an employee. I would love to work with people, and on a team that really knows what our company stands for.
