About Olivia Barry

2022 marks my second year with Simmons Bank with a focus in Commercial, Specialty, Small Business, and Consumer Non-Real Estate Lending. With prior experience in Mortgage Lending, Secondary Market, and Complaint Management, I assist associates on my team with action items and projects related to those areas. Career driven, I've moved from working Loss Draft/Hazard Claims to providing responses to customers through the Qualified Written Request process under Regulation X (1024.35-36). My experience in both of these departments fostered an interest in Compliance. While in the Mortgage Compliance Management department with my previous bank, I helped to lay the groundwork for a comprehensive Mortgage Complaint Program. Additionally, my position focused on logging and investigating security incidents, small and large, and communicating directly with Privacy - Risk Management in order to research and reach a resolution for our most valuable asset, the customer. With the COVID-19 pandemic, I spearheaded tracking regulatory guidance and company implementation of this guidance, as well as, creating a database accessible for departments in the company to include state level moratorium and fee information in order to accurately answer audit materials.
