When we get the rare chance to have our kids' undivided attention, usually on holiday in a hot tub, one of our favorite things to do is play "who would you want in the foxhole?" We name three friends, and they decide who they would choose to spend a fun 24 hours with, who they would want in the foxhole, and who they wouldn’t choose for either. We explained what it meant to be in a foxhole with someone, where your life is on the line and your trust in them can mean the difference between life and death. They know that they need to think carefully about this choice. So, how does this relate to me in the career context? I am the one you would choose to have in the foxhole, every single time. I am the person that anticipates and gets ahead of danger. I am the person that has your back. I am the person who leaves nothing to chance and nothing on the table. I’m a hustler. I deliver. I am consistent and my dedication is unwavering. My previous experience includes a decade at Accenture, where I managed business-wide global communications and created compelling sales collateral for Fortune 500 clients across various industries. Leading a team of 6 people based in the Philippines, I ran an in-house creative agency specializing in writing, copywriting and visual design. I owned our WordPress portal and was responsible for its content and design, servicing a business of 6,500+. I also managed communications for the Operations business of people, in a split role that covered both internal and external communications. I created thousands of product related assets for SaaS and tech products and can translate technical to plain language with ease. I implemented global communication strategies and managed complex, client-facing content workflows from stakeholders and leaders across Accenture Operations. From strategic messaging, social media campaigns and email marketing to detailed product content and UX optimization, I’ve done it all.
