About Olivia Burdo

Olivia “Livy” Burdo is an emerging music industry professional with a passion for bridging the gap between the musician and fan through amplifying artists' voices and personalizing the business. By the age of six, Livy received training in voice, piano, and guitar, and by fourteen years-old had performed with the St. Paul’s Children’s Choir of Fairfield, CT in world renown cathedrals and in two Yale Operas as a paid vocalist. While she credits her foundation in artistry for deepening her understanding of the industry, it was always the stories behind the artists she admired and her hours of research on record labels, producers, and venues which captivated her most. Expecting her B.A. in Business of Creative Enterprises from Emerson College this upcoming May, Livy has dedicated her college career to seeking out opportunities to strengthen her professional persona. She has held the positions as the Live Events Student Manager for Emerson’s student run radio station WECB Emerson College Broadcasting for five consecutive semesters, as an A&R Intern for up-and-coming independent label OceanFive Records, and as an Administrative Intern for the popular Cape Cod music venue The Music Room. Additionally, she’s worked as the Head of Hospitality and Artist Relations on dozens of shows including Billy Currington live at The Melody Tent in June of 2022, Ella Jane, Dev Lemons, and Dejima at Emerson College in April of 2024, and Sidney Gish at Emerson College in April of 2022. With a highly ambitious spirit and lifelong dream of working in music, Livy is actively seeking out any opportunities to strengthen her understanding of the industry and build her early career.
