I'm a quick-learning, problem-driven worker with experience in tech, communications, and environmental science. Today, I'm hoping to connect with smart, empathetic team where I can make a real impact. Since graduating college, I've had a roundabout career. It's made for a not-very-garden-path-y resume, but I wouldn't trade any of my experiences, because they've allowed me to finally get clear on what I have to offer. Between the lines of what you see here on this page, I earned my private pilot's license while working as a ramp agent at one of the busiest FBOs in America (that means I drove a gigantic truck through a maze of parked Gulfstream jets so I could fuel them, among other things). I learned how to bartend at a community-centric restaurant (that means I got really good at building relationships, prioritizing, and supporting my team, among other things). Anyway, here's some stuff I can do:* Learn complicated topics and explain them in simple terms, always focused on the "so-what" factor.* Help people feel seen, heard, and ultimately succeed - to the point where I have trouble stepping back from someone I'm helping.* Pick my way through code and tech systems I haven't been formally educated in (I'm looking for the chance to do this MORE!)* Think strategically, always with the end-user/target audience/customer in mind.* Work quickly under pressure, never miss a deadline, etc.* Lighten the mood of meetings. where appropriate, of course (I say this based on REAL feedback from REAL former coworkers). If you read this far, WOW, you rule! Now, look up from your device, gaze out the window or at the far opposite wall and let your eyes unfocus for just, like, 30 seconds. Or maybe go for a walk?
