About Olivia Cross

I am currently a sophomore at Indiana University Bloomington’s Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture, and Design. I am currently studying Merchandising with an Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management minor. I am a determined and driven student who is very passionate about pursuing a business career as my parents are both business owners and have been my entire life. While I am very passionate about business, I also have a creative side. I am very interested in the cosmetics industry and have taken many steps to help me move closer to this industry, including obtaining my cosmetology license and working a part-time job in the cosmetics service industry. During my time so far here at Indiana University, I have acquired many important skills that will continue to help me thrive as I transition into a career. I am very hardworking and able to multitask quite well. This came into play even before coming here to Indiana University. During the last two years of my high school education, I was completing all of my necessary academic credits, completing cosmetology school, and working two jobs all at the same time. This time in my life taught me to manage my time very well and learn how to handle multiple time consuming tasks all at once without becoming overwhelmed. During this time I also learned that I could complete whatever I set my mind to, and that I am a very ambitious person. I will use my ambition and work hard through my career to help a company accomplish their goals in a timely manner. I will also use my ability to multitask to complete any major tasks that are assigned to me, while also not falling behind on any background goals that I have.
