About Olivia Day

Passionate. Driven. Hardworking. Leader. Since I can remember, helping and leading others have been what I am passionate about. Hospitality is my life and creating warm, inviting, and safe experiences for guests, regardless of the venue, is something I value highly. These passions and values have lead me to be successful in all aspects of my life, but specifically in my career. I was able to take advantage of the time in the Covid-19 pandemic and create my own business. At the age of 20, I was able to be my own boss and serve many guests through cooking meals in their homes for families and friends to gather around and enjoy. The planning and time that would go into these events was thrilling and important, as if I did not have a plan, my tasks would not be complete. With that being said, my ability to problem solve helped the nights where everything didn’t go as planned. I loved what this job had to offer me as I was able to use my people skills to create a great atmosphere, and my cooking skills to create wonderful and satisfying meals. All of these skills, combined with my strength in the classroom, earning a spot on the Dean’s List at Penn State University during multiple semesters, I believe I could be a well-rounded asset to any professional team.
