About Olivia Franks

I am a current senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I grew up in South Florida and graduated from American Heritage School-Boca/Delray in May 2020. I have completed a variety of Human Development courses that have only further strengthened my desire to explore the field more. Following my graduation, I intend on going to law school. Ever since I shadowed at a law firm in high school, I was confident that this was the career I wanted to pursue. This past summer, I worked at an immigration law firm in Tel Aviv, Israel, where I gained invaluable insight into what being an attorney looks like. I do not know what field of law I want to practice, but I am looking forward to future experience that will help me determine that. My skills include attention to detail, organization, flexibility, and proficiency in Spanish. Working in a rigorous environment will provide me with the tools I need academically, professionally, and personally to prepare for success. Outside of the classroom, I can be found spending time with friends and trying new restaurants. I love to meet new people and am looking forward to creating strong relationships with future coworkers.
