About Olivia Gamache

I am an environment and community relations manager with more than 15 years experience working globally on mining, energy and infrastructure projects. My studies in chemical and environmental engineering lead me to start my career in water and wastewater treatment at Hatch. I then moved into an environmental management and community relations role in Hatch, focussing on integrating environment and community risks and opportunities into major projects around the world. I have experience in multiple jurisdictions globally and have been responsible for permitting and approvals, environmental management, environmental assessments, community relations, stakeholder identification and mapping, indigenous engagement, local content planning, and corporate social responsibility (CSR). I was integral to developing and implementing a number of corporate CSR strategies at Hatch, including but not limited to preparing corporate CSR reports and successfully achieving bronze status under the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business' Progressive Aboriginal Relations program.
