About Olivia Haslam

Hello! My name is Olivia Haslam, I am from Herriman Utah and I am a Utah girl through and through. When I’m not studying or working you can find me planning my next adventure, doing anything with arts and crafts, hiking in the foothills of the Salt Lake Valley, and skiing the Wasatch Back. In my Communications 1100 class which I took during my Freshman year of college at the University of Utah, the professor asked the class, what made our world spin? What made our clock tick? My answer to that question was, creating a brand story and experience for customers and allowing positive interactions between the company and their clients. I see this firsthand at my sales job at Bath and Body Works, where the brand story and interactions are everything and each associate is trained to manage discourse successfully. I also get another front row seat to brand success and communications at my internship in Public Involvement at CONSOR engineers, where we bridge the gap between the nitty gritty of construction and the public through verbal communication or digital marketing. This love for brand story and development blossomed during my years in high school DECA, as I was competing on a state and national level in the Community Giving Category each year and prompted me to pursue a degree in Strategic Communications at the University of Utah where I still am currently learning and experiencing everything that comes with being a working college student. I am passionate about helping people love their brands they come across each day whether that be Bath and Body Works or UDOT and I cannot wait to see where this passion takes me.
