I'm harnessing the power of social media, digital marketing, and community building to grow the one of the largest networks of outdoor and environmental professionals. and counting! You want the best people working on climate change solutions, public land stewardship, and environmental policy? Me too. I help outdoor industry companies, creatives, and professionals connect and create collective action around environmental issues. Through years of outdoor leadership, event management, and community building, I have facilitated thousands of human-nature connections, helping to create the next wave of environmental advocates. I believe that our outdoor community is uniquely positioned to make a massive, positive impact on today’s environmental challenges. As outdoor professionals, it’s critical that we use our creativity, scientific expertise, and day-to-day outdoor experiences to lead the environmental movement. In 2019, I created Career Outdoors (formerly Women in Outdoor Work) to give passionate environmentalists the tools they need to land amazing outdoor jobs and become environmental leaders. Along with growing and managing this online community of 110k+ professionals, I help environmentally-minded employers connect with our badass network and find stellar candidates for their open positions. We need the best people working for our planet, and a challenging hiring process shouldn’t be holding anyone back.
