Coming into college with multiple majors running through my head, I knew I had to pick a major that I would not only do for the rest of my life but also one that I was enthusiastic about. I decided I would pursue accounting. The unlimited possibilities of industries I could enter with accounting made it look extremely desirable in my eyes. I knew once I entered accounting that I could join and learn from a variety of businesses and industries since every business needs an accountant. School taught me the logistics and technicalities of accounting, but I felt like I needed something more: experience in the workforce. My family and friends would describe me as determined, curious, and organized, and I hope to utilize those skills in the workforce in the future.
