About Olivia Messeri

I am an alumni of Baldwin Wallace University with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. I've always loved the idea of teaching, specifically to the younger ages. I was heavily influenced by my elementary school teachers, I remember them being so kind and passionate about what they did. It's so important that students are being taught by people who enjoy teaching. My hope is to make as big of an impact on students as they did on me! My teaching philosophy is simple: I want to create an atmosphere of comfort and safety and hope to create a family-like environment. This is extremely important to me, if the students and myself all feel and treat one another like family then that's how I know I'm doing my job right. I am a level headed person who loves to spread positivity and promote growth. My willingness to try new things and take on new approaches is what makes me such a strong force. I love the idea of always being a better version of my self and seeing that change from day to day.
