As the Assistant General Manager of Deetjen’s Big Sur Inn, I led the strategic pivots needed to survive business closures as 1 of only 2 retained employees to create a business perpetuation and growth plan. Through many achievements, I have supported my team by enabling a staff voice and being an agent for change through empathetic leadership. I am driven by working with integrity toward the causes I care about, such as wellness, hospitality, healthcare, sustainability, education, mental health, social justice, or simply team collaboration. Whether it be bettering the world through nonprofit work (I have over 10 years of experience working at nonprofits), simply streamlining projects to increase efficiency, or managing and leading a team, I enjoy collaborating with and guiding others to reach their potential and goals.
