About Olivia Schertz
I went to Arizona State University, where I studied English (Linguistics). During college, I also obtained my TESOL, which included an internship aspect. The internship allowed me to work which students of all ages, by both helping them in the classroom, as well as, taking students to various social events around the campus. This internship made me even more interested in teaching, as I recognized it as an opportunity to expand my horizons. I taught children from the ages 4-12 English in South Korea and this experience has allowed me to grow as both a teacher and person. I believe that giving back to the world should be our number one priority and teaching is the perfect way to do just that. Currently I am teaching in Spain. I teach ages 5-7 year-olds English, math, science, art, ICT, and music. During this time I also received a certificate in Advanced Methodologies of English Teaching.
