About Olivia Scott

I am a Senior Manager in BDO’s Forensic Services Team, experienced in conducting and overseeing investigations into allegations of fraud, misappropriation, corruption and misconduct, nepotism, conflict of interests, inappropriate procurement and recruitment practices and bullying and harassment in the public and private sectors. My role includes planning, coordinating, conducting and reviewing investigations to ensure the investigation is thorough, fair and impartial, and the report is of a standard that would withstand scrutiny. Our investigations are supported by Forensic Technology and data analysis expertise. I provide advice to clients through observations and recommendations on systemic and/or organisational workplace matters that may prevent or minimise the occurrence of future misconduct, corruption or fraud. In this role, I also provide services in investigation training, whistleblower training, fraud prevention training, and assist clients in strengthening their fraud and corruption controls through benchmarking their existing framework to the Fraud and Corruption Control Standard. I am experienced in liaising with, and interviewing, Whistleblowers, Public Interest Disclosures, vulnerable witnesses, complainants and subject officers to collect evidence and produce complex factual reports for the consideration of our clients.
