About Olivia Scully

I am currently employed by the University of Victoria in the School of Nursing, assisting faculty, managing hiring for sessional instructors and teaching assistants, and supporting undergraduate course delivery. As a member of CUPE Local 951, I hold a position on the Executive Board as a Trustee. I am passionate about unions and the labour movement, and seek to learn and grow in solidarity with my fellow workers. I hold a Master's of Arts in Socio-cultural Aspects of Sport and the Body, where my studies focused on socio-cultural aspects of health. I am interested in utilizing the knowledge I gained throughout graduate school in my career, including managing large projects, interacting with university students, and creating a positive impact on university campuses. I have work and volunteer experience in a variety of areas which has allowed me to develop many transferrable skills. From working with children to customer service in many retail jobs, research at the university level, and working as a receptionist and administrative assistant, I am inquisitive and curious, which I bring to my job. My passions outside of work include traveling, yoga, running, cycling, and reading.
