About Olivia Sexton

Passionate about making a positive impact in education and mental health, I am currently pursuing my Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology at The Ohio State University. Graduating Summa Cum Laude, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Family Science with minors in Psychology, Education, and Music, while actively participating in extracurricular activities such as International Affairs Scholars, the Morrill Scholarship Program, and membership in the OSU Marching Band and Kappa Kappa Psi. With experience in education and mental health, I've served as a Substitute Teacher at Columbus City Schools and a Camp Counselor at Camp Recky, honing my adaptability and leadership skills. Additionally, through volunteer work and field experience, I've gained valuable insight into classroom dynamics and instructional strategies. As a leader in various organizations like The Ohio State University Marching Band and Kappa Kappa Psi, I've developed strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Thriving in collaborative environments, I am dedicated to fostering a sense of community and belonging. I am enthusiastic about connecting with fellow professionals in the fields of education, psychology, and mental health to exchange ideas, collaborate on projects, and collectively make a positive difference in the lives of others.
